AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) 2016 Important Dates shall be conducted by CBSE for admission into MBBS and BDS course for the new session. The exam will be held on 1st May 2016.

AIPMT Result 

AIPMT-2016 Eligibility Criteria: There was no change in AIPMT 2016 retest eligibility criteria. According to CBSE officials, all candidates who had appeared for AIPMT 2016 on May 3, 2016 were eligible to take NEET 2016 re exam. As per the AIPMT 2016 eligibility criteria, candidates must have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31 of the year of admission and have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with 50% marks in 10+2/HSC .

A.I.P.M.T 2016 Exam Pattern: The retest exam pattern of AIPMT 2016 has not been changed by examination authority. According to CBSE, the exam pattern of CBSE was the same as mentioned in information brochure. A.I.P.M.T 2016 retest was based on the syllabus as prescribed by examination authority CBSE. The booklet of AIPMT 2016 re-exam had 180 questions of 720 marks from Physics, Chemistry Zoology and Biology subjects. Read important points of AIPMT 2016 retest Exam Pattern given below:

A.I.P.M.T-2016 Application Procedure: Candidate’s don’t have to fill fresh application form for appearing in AIPMT-2016 retest. According to CBSE officials, candidates do not need to fill fresh application form for re-appearing in A.I.P.M.T2016. All candidates whose application form has been accepted by CBSE and appeared for AIPMT 2016 exam May 3 are eligible for appearing in AIPMT 2016 NEET Phase 2 exam which will held on July 24, 2016.

NEET 2016 Admit Card: The examination authority had issued the fresh admit card for NEET-2016. Candidates had to download AIPMT 2016 admit card for appearing in AIPMT-2016 Exam. The admit card of AIPMT 2016 retest consisted of candidate’s detail,  AIPMT-2016 retest roll number, exam center and exam day guideline.

AIPMT 2016 Result: The result of AIPMT 2016 will be declared on or before August 17, 2016. The AIPMT 2016 result will be declared for the candidates who have qualified appeared in the exam. The qualifying marks for general category candidates in  AIPMT 2016 exam is not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together while the qualifying marks for candidates belonging to the SC, ST and OBC category the qualifying is 40% marks.

NEET 2016-17 Cut off – The cut off score is the qualifying marks as prescribed by examination authority which candidates must score to qualify the entrance test. The AIPMT 2016 cut off will depends on availability of seats, number of applicants, and difficulty level in the entrance examination. According to officials, the qualifying mark is 50% marks for general category and 40% for SC, ST and OBC category candidates taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. The result of only those candidates will be declared who will score the qualifying marks in entrance exam.

NEET-2016 Merit List:

The merit list of AIPMT-2016 will be based on the marks scored by candidates. A.I.P.M.T-2016 Merit List will be based on the marks range. It is a range of scorers from the highest to lowest within a category. For example, in the case of last year’s AIPMT cut off, 682 was the highest score while 438 the lowest within the unreserved category. The marks range forms the basis for AIPMT-2016 rank range. The examination authority draws out top 15% scorers among the qualified candidates in marks range in order to get rank range. Therefore, the rank range is the number of candidates qualified in different categories for 15% all India quota seats. AIPMT 2016 counselling is done on the AIPMT 2016 rank range.

A.I.P.M.T 2016 Counselling: The counselling of AIPMT-2016 will be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) tentatively in the month September for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The AIPMT2016 counselling process will be conducted in 3 rounds. The AIPMT 2016 counseling process includes Counseling Registration, Choice Filling for Indicative Seats.

AIPMT Seat Distribution 

AIPMT-2016 Participating States:  A.I.P.M.T2016 is a national level examination conducted by CBSE for admission to MBBS and BDS seats under 15% All India Quota in Government medical and Dental colleges of India excluding Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir. However, many State Governments / Universities / Institutions voluntarily participates in AIPMT–2016 for using its merit list for admission in the Medical Colleges/Dental Colleges against seats under their control. The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing merit list to the DGHS and participating States/Universities/Institutions.
